Barbara's idea for Backyard Bible Studies for Ladies came as a surprise even to her! Her passion is for the ladies in her own backyard - Brazoria County - and so she has a list of prepared topics she can share with your ladies ministry or you can request a topic of your own.

So, if you want a “girlfriend chat” environment for your event, Barbara’s your girl! She’ll deliver God’s message through humor, personal testimony, and God’s Word.

• From My House to the Fraternity House…raising our kids from a distance This topic covers Barbara’s experiences as a church going, Sunday school teaching, Godly mom who put her energy into instilling values in her son.  And it worked – until he went off to college.  This topic discusses how we as moms cope with our grown kids’ decisions as they spread their wings to fly.
• SHHH because God said So!  Barbara will cover through testimony and Psalm 46:10 what it means to be quiet and how God blesses us in those seasons.
• Caution:  God Will Use the Weirdest Teaching Tools.  God used Barbara’s brother’s death in 1983 and then her divorce in 1990 as teaching tools for spiritual growth.  You’ll learn how God will take your disasters and make them times to show His mercy and grace…if you’ll let go and let Him.

Fee structure is simple.  Barbara will appear anywhere in Brazoria County on a love offering basis.  If it is an overnight retreat environment, she will request that her expenses be paid (room, food, gas if out of the area) and a love offering basis.
