Barbara Oden, a published author and speaker, has taught Bible studies in her church for over 20 years. God called her to write while on a trip to Israel, and she continues to seek Him on this amazing adventure. Barbara lives outside of Houston, Texas.

Barbara embraces the fact that she is God’s work in progress. She delights in the thrill of living for Christ, even through tragedy. Her only brother was killed in a tragic car accident and then a few years later she became a single mom when her son was only three years old. Many years have passed (Kevin is now out of college, living in Louisiana, but still owns his mama’s heart), and Barbara knows these experiences have made her stronger because through them and many others, she learned to trust God. Daddy God is her stronghold.
